I’m new to Latin, where should I start?

It depends on how your tutor works, but  once the tutor has covered some ground this app will allow you to test yourself on what you have been taught at various stages. The most common way is to concentrate on one type of word, say Verbs 1st conjugation. To set up a test on this:
  1. In settings set Answer Limit to 3, Choose you dictionary, Smart Testing to On;
  2. select Latin to English
  3. Multi Choice,
  4. Verbs 1st All Principal Parts
  5. Customise Scope > Grammatical > Verbs 1st Conjugation, > Press Start
  6. And once 20 questions have been answered, Retry until you have answered all questions correctly 3 times.

How do I concentrate on all words beginning with A

After choosing whether to go Latin to English, whether Multi-choice or type-in answer,:
  1. select Customise
  2. click on the Letter A
  3. Press Start
If the ‘A’ button is not a red circle this means you have already answered some of these questions correctly through other tests! If you want to test yourself on all ‘A’ again then go to Home > Settings > Reset > Customise, button A.

After upgrading a dictionary, installing it on another device.

After downloading onto your second device, go to Settings > Dictionary, press ‘Restore’. Enter the same Apple ID as you did when you purchased the dictionaries on the first device. This should download the dictionaries you have purchased ready for use. If this does not work, please use contact us for assistance.
